Understanding The Most Important Breed Characteristics Of All The Breeds In The Toy Group
JUDGING AND UNDERSTANDING THE TOY BREEDS
an online Webinar with Andrew Brace
Even if they have no ambitions to become the next great all-rounder, breeder-judges are often asked to judge breeds other than their own if they expand their judging activities and this can be quite daunting. Often there is more to a breed than the written word of the Breed Standard, many breeds having their own idiosyncrasies and possibly a specific way of conducting the hands-on examination.
With this in mind I have created a new online Webinar, JUDGING AND UNDERSTANDING THE TOY BREEDS, which endeavours to explain those little quirks that are sometimes overlooked by non-specialist judges.
In the presentation I concentrate on the most important breed characteristics of all the breeds recognised in the Toy Group by the British Kennel Club. I do not recite every word of the Breed Standard (anyone can read that) but each breed slide features a photograph of a specimen of the breed that I consider outstanding and I give a commentary on each slide.
The Toy Group is probably the most diverse of all the Groups, containing miniaturised Hounds, Gundogs, Terriers and Working breeds so this Webinar should be of interest to a wide range of enthusiasts.
